10 Oct The opening of the Kadıköy- Kaynarca subway project
Kartal-Pendik-Tavşantepe subway line of 4.5 km, which is a supplement to the Kadıköy-Kartal subway line, is in service as of 6.00 am in this morning. The double lined subway included three subway stations.(Yakacık-Pendik-Kaynarca)
There are stairway entrances and exits and also elevators for handicapped at all stations of the subway line. At all stations on the D-100 highway, there are entrances and exits on the north and south sides and lower gates.
Kadıköy – Tavşantepe 38,5 minutes.
With the Kartal – Pendik – Tavşantepe subway line inception of service; the length of Kadıköy-Tavşantepe line reached 26.2 km and the number of stations reached 19. Thus, the journey between Kadıköy and Tavşantepe will take 38.5 minutes.
